How was Game Girls created?

Keith Hernandez invited Barbara Ellen (once hired by CBS to host the NFL today show) to a baseball game and she included some girlfriends to sit with her.

While Keith was in the announcer’s booth, she and her girlfriends talked about almost everything but the game and occasionally they would try to figure out what just happened, in between asking the men behind them to take pictures of them proving that in fact they were at the big social event – a sports game! (Facebook worthy with cute outfits!)

They said to each other; “Wouldn’t it be funny if people actually heard what we were talking about?”  A light bulb went off when Barbara Ellen realized that the men would be amused and other women would identify, and product placement was a natural position for GAME GIRLS!
